MooVId speedtest, using the following MooVId commandline template:
MooVId fps 1000 noskip verbose nosound nogui [filename]
(and dither pip, dither overlay, and winp in various modes)
Used MooVId version: 1.2

Used animation was Rave.mov, 320x240, CinePak codec original framerate was 15FPS.
(you can download the animation from HERE)

Testconfiguration:
A1200/BPPC 603e+/233MHz, 68040/33Mhz, BVisionPPC, 80MB RAM, CGX 4.2

68040/33 results:

Overlay: 33.5 fps
Own Screen: 33.56 fps
Windowplayback: 17.1 fps
Storm dither (AGA): 12.69 fps

PowerUP:

Overlay: 39.16 fps
Own screen: 47.95 fps
Windowplayback: 20.31 fps
Storm dither (AGA): 17.9 fps

WarpOS:

Overlay: 49.32 fps
Own Screen: 73.91 fps
Windowplayback: 23.66 fps
Storm dither (AGA): 25.12 fps

Same animation on my system:
A4000/CSMKII 060-50/PicassoIV, 174MB RAM, CGX4.2, p96 2.0, OS3.1

AGA:
Storm dither (AGA): 19.52fps

Under p96:
Overlay: 98.97fps
Own Screen: 63.26fps
Windowplayback (on hicolor screen): 66.85fps
Windowplayback (on truecolor screen): 50.53fps

Under CGX:

Overlay: 75.30fps
Own Screen: 53.64fps
Windowplayback (on hicolor screen): 30.30fps
Windowplayback (on truecolor screen): 23.2fps

Note:
There are major slowdowns using CGX or PowerUP systems...
There will be some speed improvement under PowerUP, so that will be near same speed as WOS version, but the main problem is the CGX, because in many operations (window playback, and overlay) under CGX is far more slower than under p96.
